Yo.

“That should give you plenty of time to search for the real perpetrator, if he does exist.” a knight of the assembly added. “Oh, and more thing. To prevent any new incident, Anolk will not be allowed to use his Wind Ring during the entirety of his journey through the underground dungeons of the Blade Tower.”
Anolk gazed at Lilyacoo and whispered. As he had expected, she alone turned her head in his direction before approaching the assembly of knights.
“No.” she exclaimed in answer to the judge's sentence. “Like we'd you incompetent morons keep an artifact that powerful in your hands. Remember that it's the same thing Anolk used to defeat the Dalvyon and save both your lives, and the rest of your isle. So it's stayin' on my ship for safekeeping. And if anyone's got something to say about it, my claws are ready to finish the rest of this conversation. Savvy?”
“You cannot simply walk inside our meeting and threaten our lives, miserable trespasser!” one of the knights retorted, hand on the hilt of his sword. “What makes you think we'll just give you this instrument of chaos so that you may misuse it again?”
Lilyacoo glared at him. “Because if you don't,” she warned, “I'm blowing up every single building of this forsaken place until you decide to give me this ring. Anolk and Gourmet risked their lives to save your pathetic isle, and if the only reward you can give them is imprisonment and insults, then I have no reason to be as gentle as they are. There's an ark-sized ship waiting outside, and considering the current state of your forces, I don't think you'd be able to do much against it. So you see, boy, you don't actually have a choice. Anolk's going inside your dungeon. In the meantime, I'm keeping his precious ring safe. Inside of my ship. So give it now and deal with it.” Lilyacoo expectantly extended her hand, and after long seconds of hesitation, one of the knights walked up to her and reluctantly gave her the Wind Ring.
“That a boy.” Lilyacoo concluded in a sarcastic tone. “Now allow me to take my crew mates back to my ship until Anolk's ready to go inside your Blade Tower. We'll be back in a few minutes. Anolk? Gourmet? Let's go. Ah, and one last thing...” Lilyacoo pointed a dramatic finger at the judge. “I took the time and effort to come here in peace.” she declared. “But if you're dumb enough to send another squad of your knights to attack me, then be warned. I can defend myself pretty darn well.” with that, Lilyacoo turned on her heels and climbed the stairs, her cape floating behind her as she left the scene, disappearing into the bright light of the day.******“You don't have to go inside...”
Anolk and Havalpo were standing in front of a gigantic door stuck deep inside of the Blade Tower. Lilyacoo and Shirlu were far behind them, having forced the knights to give the two friends some space before Anolk went through the entrance to Blade Tower's underground dungeons.
Dungeons that Shirlu had described like being home to some of the deadliest traps and warrior-born creatures he had ever met, with said traps and creatures getting more dangerous the deeper one would go. But although it was also a place in which many weapons rested, Anolk still had to learn how to use them on the spot. And considering that the Gates of the Abyss were located at the very end of the dangerous labyrinth, there were slim chances that Anolk would come out unscathed.
“You don't have to go inside...”
Anolk gazed at Havalpo, locked in his humanoid form ever since he had merged with the Coo-Hatch. The very form he had taken during their first, painful separation.
“I need to, Havalpo.” Anolk assured. “I can't let them suffer anymore! And since someone's imitating my abilities to make this happen, it's still my responsibility. You'd end up hating me if I didn't fix the problems in front of me!”
“I will never hate you, no matter what you do, Anolk!” Havalpo exclaimed, trembling with anxiety. “Even if it was really you who had done this to Blade Isle, I would never hate you! Because we're true friends!” Anolk grinned happily, patting on Havalpo's head. “Of course we are.” he replied. “And that's why I'm gonna come back after my job is done. Then we can go on more adventures together!”
“You promise?” “Jadoo. I promise.” Anolk contemplated the door once more. A rusty sword was sealing the circular knob, while its equally rusty scabbard sealed the other one. Like he had been instructed to, Anolk walked towards both items and removed them from their spot. The door then slowly opened itself, like a giant monster's mouth planning to trap its prey within its belly. Anolk put away the sword inside of its scabbard and passed it on his shoulder, ready to use it against the first creature that would dare attack him. And so, without further ado, he marched forward, just as the rocky doors closed behind him.“Oi Anolk!” Lilyacoo couldn't help but shout. “I didn't take you in for this trip to end here! So you better freakin' come back! Nobody else is taking your spot on my ship, savvy?”
“And you better come back at least as strong as I am!” Shirlu added. “We'll have a few fun sparring matches, so practice hard!"
Anolk's smile grew larger. Without turning back, he extended his arm and closed his fist into a thumbs up.
“You got it!”
The words echoed in the closing darkness of the Blade Tower's first dungeon before finally disappearing. In the silence that followed his departure, it felt like the cheerfulness of the entire world had vanished along with Anolk of the Wind.
Lylatt blinked, as if remembering for the first time in a while that he could do that.
“I think I may have devoured a tad more words than I thought I did,” Lylatt said, gazing up at a chuckling Valmond.
1022 words. Managing decently, I think.
