Poetry Prompt - Your prompt today is to write down the next 3 quotes from the quote generator at the bottom of the screen and choose one to inspire your next poem! Bonus points if you can use the line within the poem directly.
here is a poem for you all to read as contribution to the club
Words
They float around me
Like water
A few are discouraging.
Not all of them are.
No matter how I try, some stick with me.
Sometimes, they are heavy weights
Resting on my shoulders
I can’t get them out
I struggle to get them out
It’s like they’re in a jail
Waiting to break free.
Slowly but surely
They’ll find the courage
To slip out
To be free.
