Poetically Arranged Chaos

Everything you need to know...

I should probably put a bunch of crap about my life, but my life isn't that exciting. I have a blog that isn't worth linking and a profile on Wattpad as well as on CritiqueCircle and Booksie. I mean, it's just the same stuff that I have here. So let's just pretend they don't exist, shall we?

I like watching TV (who doesn't) and quoting books to other people. "It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live." -Albus Dumbledore. Oh yeah, I love reading. I'm known to start and finish a book in a day. My pet peeve used to be un-creatively named characters, like Bob and John. Now, it's characters that are too creatively named. C'mon, no mother would name her child "Eleray!" As you can see from the photo next to this text, I actually commissioned someone to draw two of my characters from a book I have yet to finish (their names are Declan and Sullivan, NORMAL NAMES). I paid for it, so y'all better enjoy it.

My other hobbies include singing and performing with an honors choir where I live, sketching random landscapes, and lurking online into the late hours of the night. I pride myself in my ability to stay up until four o'clock in the morning and still wake up around seven for breakfast-- that's my only redeeming quality, now that I think about it.

That's pretty much it. If you like, check out my works! Most of it will make me cringe in a few years, but c'est la vie.

Every time I’ve gotten feedback that was hard to take it was usually hard to take because there was truth in it and I didn’t like that (or didn’t want to receive it). That’s not to say all harsh feedback is good or that we should be harsh for harshness’ sake, but learning to absorb truth without letting it break your inner core/break you is a lifelong skill that keeps your mind elastic and open to learning.
