Railyn leaned into the chair, resisting the very strong urge to prop his feet up on the table. He stared at the ceiling for a moment.

"What are they gonna do, kick us out?" Railyn asked, kinda wanting that to actually happen. It'd be funny and he wouldn't have to do this project. But, he opened ...

Railyn walked behind Thane, his feet dragging more and more the closer they got to actually working on this project. He took his sweet time getting up the stairs, but ...

"Libraries aren't really my thing, so..." Railyn glanced at the "You are here" board. "Looks like there's some study rooms on the third floor."

The silence stretched out between them once again until they reached the library. Railyn skipped ahead and held the door open for Thane.

Railyn shrugged. "Can't hurt more than this class is hurting my brain." He offered Thane a cheesy smile.

"I think we can know our limitations with actual training, not stupid math equations like she said..." Railyn rubbed his eyebrows. Just thinking about this class gave him a headache.

The sun had set by that point, and dim lights lit up the sidewalk on the way to the library. For a moment, they walked in silence. But, Railyn's mind ...

"I gotta be honest. I forgot mine in my room..." Railyn mutttered, scratching his head. "Let's hope the booklets are the same!"

"Awesome, library." Railyn walked the way to the library. He looked back as he walked. "So, uh, you got the booklet?"

"Yeah... you wanna go back to your room or my room, or..?" Railyn suddenly blushed. "That sounded wrong. How about the library?"

"Yes! The project!" Railyn smiled nervously. "Gotta love homework on the first day..."

Railyn chuckled lightly. "I kinda completely forgot about like... actually figuring out how to chat with you after dinner. Or, like..." he faltered, struggling to find the right words.
