Nic Jace wakes and sits up, looking around frightfully before realizing everything's the same. His shoulders sag and I watch him look down.

Jace "Like that," I whisper in response to her original question.

Ethan I think back to things before and sigh again, looking out at the street.

Nic I let Jace dream, smoothing his hair back to calm him a bit.

Jace I close my eyes and set a hand on the side of her face before pulling back, resting my forehead against hers.

Ethan I sigh, "Very true."

Nic I dry my face and walk back to Jace, finding him mumbling in his sleep about something.

Jace I swallow and think before walking up to her and pulling her into a kiss.
