Ethan We come across an old-time diner and I flash a smile, blinking away the memory, "How about here?"

Nic I shield my eyes and jump up when I can see again, "What the f***ing hell? Where's Jae?!"

Jace My knees shake and I drop, shaking slightly. Nic makes sure I'm sitting up before turning around. "He's... yeah," he nods nervously, "Oh sh*t..."

Ethan I nod and sigh, glancing around.

Nic Jace slides off of Rayah's lap before a streak of blinding light covers him.

Ethan I glance at her, "I like to walk. Less distractions. Any particular thing you're hungry for?"

Nic I study my brother and wonder what he's up to, finding a different glint in his eyes.

Ethan I lead her out and start walking downtown, purposefully not taking a car.

Nic I flash a smile as Jace sits on her lap and plays with a ringlet of her hair, trying to eat the end of it.
