Nic I watch the two and scoop Jace into my lap when he wakes, wiping his eyes for him. "Uh oh," he mumbles, yawning as he looks at Rayah.

Ethan Flashing another smile, I head back to my desk and sit down.

Nic I feel Rayah's forehead and scoot Jace away so she can sit up, "You're okay, sweetheart. Jackie's right over here."

Ethan I study her and hesitate before crossing the room and taking her files, "Dinner. Downtown. Dress nice."

Nic I pale as she mumbles and tilt my head to the side before glancing at Jackie, "You... how does she know that?"

Ethan I smile and sigh, watching her, "And what would I get in return?"

Nic I lose my smile and watch Rayah, wondering what's going through her head. Jace subconsciously rolls over and cuddles up to her, sighing in his sleep.

Nic I flash a smile back and nod, looking at Jace and Rayah again.

Ethan I nod and look back at the files, reading the contents of a past murder case.

Nic I smile and look at her, "You both can stay here if you want. I don't mind."

Ethan I flip through the files before looking up at her, "Was yesterday's thing taken care of?"

Ethan I glance through my files before Whitney gets here, flashing a smile when she does.

Nic I kick my shoes off and sit on the bed, flashing a smile at the two.
