Jace I sigh and sit back against the headboard. "Don't think that," I say, "It's your room too."

Jace I hear Rayah ask if she can come in and turn to her, confused. "It's your room too, Ray. Why would you need to ask?"

Jace When she doesn't come up, I swallow and close my eyes, trying to bury everything and fall asleep.

Jace I hear her, but stay where I am, not wanting to see her hurt.

Jace I groan and stand, shaking my head. Fine. Just remember who started this. I walk back upstairs and curl up under the covers.

Arlan It takes a few moments for me to process what he's asked, the esctacy of his blood still in affect. "Yeah," I nod, closing my eyes, "Sorry."

Jace I smile, keeping my eyes closed, when I hear her walk in the room. I sprawl out again and wait, pretending to be asleep.

Ha. I made Riley scare the crap out of Jace.

Jace Something touches my shoulder and I freak out, jumping up and falling off the other end of the bed. I swear and try and calm down, finding Riley giggling ...

Jace I hear footsteps around the house, but think nothing of it, assuming it's just Rayah. Sighing, I try and fall asleep.
