Kyle Apa studies her before nodding and looking at me, staying quiet.

Kyle Apa sets a hand on the side of her face and turns her to look at him, "I'm sorry you had to go through that and see the note. ...

Kyle Apa swallows and looks at me for a little before setting the note down and sitting back, "Are you two okay?"

Kyle Apa looks at Ewa questioningly before picking up the note and going pale. I stay where I am, watching him. "W-who gave you this?" he looks up at Ewa.

Elijah I nod, sighing, "Yeah. Well, that's good. At least you're okay."

Kyle Apa knocks before walking in, flashing a smile and coming to sit beside us. "I made cookies with Ewa, Apa!" I exclaim, smiling at him.

Elijah I smile, "I'm alright. I'm trying to come to terms with everything. You?"

Kyle Ewa picks me up and sits me on her lap. I sense her a little unnerved and lean against her, being a good boy.
