Nic I can't bring myself to look at... me , so I focus on Jackie, "We live here. This is our home."

Nic I go even paler at the sight of the boy. I'm...a ghost? Or whatever that is.... The girl slams into Jackie and I snap out of my shock, hating ...

Yep. And did you have anyone particular in mind for the boy? Like, did you mean it to be anyone specific?

-_- No fair. I have school tomorrow. Have to do that stupid game in Spanish and read my whole essay aloud the class before that.

Nic It's her? I swallow and walk to Jackie, the real one. Looking at the other, I swallow, "Who's yours?"

Aw. I hate movies like that...

Nic I follow Jackie closely, Halee still asleep in my arms. Is that... I look back at Jackie with a questioning look, unnerved.

Nic I pale and hold the two tighter. Take who? I...I'm the only guy in this house... Jacks, babe, let's go. I don't like this.

Nic I put up a light shield around the three of us and pull Jackie closer. What is this? What's going on?

Nic I listen, the hairs on the back of my neck standing straight up, and feel my face drain of color. Looking back at Jackie, I hold the two closer ...

*shudders*

Nic I flash to the crib and scoop our little girl in my arms, flashing back to the couch and sitting close beside Jackie, "What's going on?"

Nic I study her, "What's wrong, Jacks?"
