Which is why I am a vegetarian.

And I agree about PETA not being credible at all. I'm not sure how true this is, but they said some pretty horrendous things about circus elephants. And they always, always say something like "kept in cages and filthy conditions", and make it out to seem as though it's true in every case. Some cases, sure, but that also happens if a pet is given to the wrong owner. So what do they do, try to ban pets?
Ideas don't stay in heads very long because they don't like solitary confinement.

Yes, actually. Taken directly from this page:

PETA wrote:We at PETA very much love the animal companions who share our homes, but we believe that it would have been in the animals' best interests if the institution of "pet keeping"—i.e., breeding animals to be kept and regarded as "pets"—never existed.

In the not-so-distant past, their stance on pet-keeping was explicitly stated as putting an end to the institution entirely.

They've softened the presentation a bit, but ultimately, the goal seems to be the same.
Secretly a Kyllorac, sometimes a Murtle.
There are no chickens in Hyrule.

Don't aim at success--the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side-effect of one's dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one's surrender to a person other than oneself.
