I hate him with a passion
Still with burning eyes
I look at him with passionate rage
And all I feel begins to subside
I took a step to forgive somehow
And love did the ultimate healing, now I am free
Sound and certain…that this rage
Will never arise…for this is the insurmountable me

omit a "..."
the lines get longer as they go, but the rhythm didn't crash and burn. this has a definite point, it wasn't forced, and sounded very good. great job =] i only wish it could've been longer, but then, i suppose, length sometimes can kill the poem as well as make it, so i won't object.
Carpe Diem.

Cheat your landlord if you can and must, but do not try to shortchange the Muse. It cannot be done. You can’t fake quality any more than you can fake a good meal.
