When I start dreaming I feel the breeze My thoughts wander My mind at ease
I awake in a castle Surrounded by friends It's the time of my life I don't want it to end
Then he comes crashing In through the door Saying "You know it's time to settle the scores."
He's not looking at me But the man by my side He looks at me and replies "Don't worry, my bride."
I don't know this man Yet he fights for me Then we ride off On his magnificant steed
I hear the trumpets And then I realize It's not real When I open my eyes
The castle is gone The breeze no more The steed disappears No one to settle the scores
I go through my day Wishing for night Waiting anxiously To see my knight
Ummm, I think this is a bad poem about someone's dream that they had? Haha, I'm honestly not sure what it's about, or why I wrote it, but I hope it counts as a poem! xD
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root
and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky
of a tree called life; which grows higher than the soul can home
or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
