If you would like to listen to this song :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZJrttUw9mI

I thought I was right
I thought I was the best
I did things just to spite
Cause it’s me then the rest
No one could outsmart me
I was just too great
Well I guess that I
Sealed my own fate

Cause now I’m hated
And I can’t make it right
It’s too late yeah
And now I can’t sleep at night
So now they’re out to get me
Oh how could I let me?
Get so hated

I thought I was so good
I thought I was cool
I made sure everyone knew
But I was playing the fool
I was so selfish for so long
But then my everything fell
How was I so wrong?
Why couldn’t I tell?

Cause now I’m hated
And I can’t make it right
It’s too late yeah
And now I can’t sleep at night
So now they’re out to get me
Oh how could I let me?
Get so hated

So now I’m hated
And I’m sitting on my own
Yeah I am hated
And I’m all alone
If only I could see
But my head was too inflated
And that is how you get to be
So Hated

Cause now I’m hated
And I can’t make it right
It’s too late yeah
And now I can’t sleep at night
So now they’re out to get me
Oh how could I let me?
Get so hated
And I can’t make it right
It’s too late yeah
And now I can’t sleep at night
So now they’re out to get me
Oh how could I let me?
Get so hated

If I die young
bury me in satin
lay me down on a bed of roses
sink me in the river, at dawn
send me away with the words of a love song

lyric poetry indeed. I like it, many have been through that dreaded stage when we feel rejected for the wrong we did. It is nicely put together and I think it's quite gripping.
Good work,Bravo!

I am not sure which I love more, your voice or the poem! You hit the high notes very well.

However, I have a nitcpick.

Use "'cause" instead of "coz". It's a grammatical thing.

Keep writing.

Ha, sorry.
I originally typed this just for my own use, and I forgot to change it when I put it on here!
Thanks :)

I will agree with whoever said this...."lyric poetry indeed. I like it, many have been through that dreaded stage when we feel rejected for the wrong we did. It is nicely put together and I think it's quite gripping.

The day, which was one of the first of spring, cheered even me by the loveliness of its sunshine and the balminess of the air. I felt emotions of gentleness and pleasure, that had long appeared dead, revive within me. Half surprised by the novelty of these sensations, I allowed myself to be borne away by them, and forgetting my solitude and deformity, dared to be happy.
— Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
