I smile back and hold her close, daring to open my eyes enough to drag us back up for air.

Jackie

I pull back once we get in the air and flash a smile, "We should probrably head back."

Nic

I nod and flash a smile back, "Probably... C'mon."

Jackie

I smile and follow him, tired.

Nic

I glance back at her and sigh, "Get on my back. I'll take you the rest of the way."

Jackie

I smile wider before doing as he says, wrapping my arms around his neck from behind.

Nic

I flash a smile and resume heading back to shore, my chin barely above the water.

Jackie

I rest my chin on his shoulder and close my eyes.

Nic

I get us to shore and turn around, scooping her up with her arms still around my neck. Walking back to our stuff, I plop down but don't let her go.

I chuckle at him and sit in his lap where he put me, arms still wrapped around his neck as I rest my head on his chest.

I smile and keep my arms around her, looking out into the dark horizon.

I smile, "Sup?"

I smile, "Just sitting here. Sup with you?"

I shrug, "Nothing."

I nod and rest my chin atop her head, "What are your plans for after graduation?"
