I set the kids down and look at them, bored, "You two... You two better either be silent tonight, or with your mother and father. I don't want another interruption. There always is one. Not that anything would happen more than already has... unfortunately... but I still would like to be able to relax without being as paranoid as Jace is. So, in conclusion, behave and shut up, or tag along with your parents."
I sigh, watching them, before groaning and giving them each a finger to hold in their tiny hands.
"Damn you two... making me act like an uncle," I mutter, "I'm still a kid, you know."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
You'd better wise up, Pony... you get tough like me and you don't get hurt. You look out for yourself and nothing can touch you, man. — Dallas Winston, The Outsiders
