Alexis

I look at him. "I am pretty sure." I say. I lean into his shoulder. My eyes slowly closing.

Elijah

I study her, setting a hand on the side of her face as her eyes close, "Just pretty sure?"

Alexis

I try to answer, but the words will not come out of my mouth. I quickly fall into deep sleep.

Elijah

I flash a smile and watch her a few moments before scooping her up and tucking her in upstairs.

Alexis

NEXT MORNING

I wake up with my head pounding. I sit up in my bed and do not find Elijah beside me. I place my hand on my head to get rid of my head ache. I smile once it is gone. I go and change out of my dress and hop in the shower, washing off all my make-up.

I do not bother to dry my hair and walk over to Elijah's house. I knock on the door and he comes shortly after. Embarrassed, I drop my head to my chest. "I am so sorry drunken me came on to you last night." I say to him

Elijah

I wake up and head downstairs, hearing a knock on my door just as I get down. Scratching the top of my head, I trudge to the door and yawn as I open it. I smile when I find Alexis there.

"S'alright," I say after she apologizes. "No harm done."

Alexis

"I still feel weird. I know you could tell,but I had no idea that was alcohol and I had never tried it before. I just do not want things to be weird now."

Elijah

I flash a smile and shrug, "It's fine. Don't worry about it, Alexis."

Alexis

"Telling me not to worry is like telling me not to breathe. I do not know if I really wanted that or not. I do not know if we are moving to fast or too slow. I am just losing it and this is the longest I have gone with out kissing you. I just do not know what I am doing."

Elijah

I smile and pull her into a quick kiss, setting my forehead against hers once I pull away, "Just relax. We'll talk about it when I've actually woken up."

Alexis

I nod and look into his eyes.

Elijah

I look her back in the eyes and smile again, "Breakfast?"

Alexis

I smile and nod. "What would you like?" I ask

Elijah

I smile back, "I was going to cook... but an egg sounds good."

Alexis

I smile at him. "I can cook if you want, I was just offering. What ever you want is fine."
