I lie back down and take her hand, nodding, "And he's flipping out over school too, not that he has anything to worry about. Bet he aced all those freaking exams he took earlier, and he was half out of his mind too..."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I nod, "That's my new resolution. To get them to do it. Because, she can't spend the rest of her life, not experiencing that amazing feeling because that only happens when your together. Not like you can do it over the phone. That's just be...no."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I glance at him, looking around for my jeans. I find them and slip them on next, moving atop him as I lift him up, "C'mon, lazy butt," I chuckle, "Please".
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I kiss him quickly and sigh, "College. I have to go make sure Rayah's okay and get their game in plan. She says she's fine, but I need to see for myself."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I sigh and nod, kissing her back before standing and searching for my clothes. Finding my t-shirt and jeans, I slip them on and stretch, "Fine. Let's go."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
Every time I’ve gotten feedback that was hard to take it was usually hard to take because there was truth in it and I didn’t like that (or didn’t want to receive it). That’s not to say all harsh feedback is good or that we should be harsh for harshness’ sake, but learning to absorb truth without letting it break your inner core/break you is a lifelong skill that keeps your mind elastic and open to learning. — soundofmind
