What Kelp said.
"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost."

Yes. Yes it is.
How do you not know what the kgb is? They're among the most famous of government agencies. Right up there with the CIA (US) and MI-6(UK)

Sorry. As a stupid American no one ever taught me this stuff and I'm too lazy and too obsessed with fantastical worlds to learn about it myself.

WWII was the most interesting war because it gave birth to the spy battles of the Cold War which is pretty interesting itself

What Kelp said. And I'm just getting to studying WWI, so haven't done WWII yet. And what's the Cold War? I've heard of it but no one ever actually told me much.

Hundreds?
always daydreaming, always clumsy

Way, way back in the 1988 Presidential election, then Vice President George H W Bush had a phrase he liked to use: "A Thousand Points of Light." It refers to the idea that a community is made up of people who contribute in a thousand, different small ways, but with each helping to illuminate their community. It's a phrase I think about a lot when it comes to YWS. Looking forward, the site will continue to change and grow, but it will always remain a community dedicated to promoting creative writing as a favorite pastime.
