NovMo 2026: Short Stories

Having (semi-recently) fallen in love with short stories, I would like to write some this NovMo :> I'll be quite busy with school and things, but hopefully I can write one a week? I generally enjoy writing fantasy and sci-fi, but I would also like to write stories that mean something and have emotional impact, like good poetry does. (Not that those are mutually exclusive; it's just that in the past I've focused more on the world and plot than the characters ^^')

Goals
  • 4 short stories (likely around 1000-2000 words each)
  • Improve at writing realistic characters and emotional stories
  • >= 15 comments on other people's threads
