"Bonnine?" It coudln't be her; there was no telltale gleam of a ring. The entity, whatever it was, didn't respond to Billy's voice.

Must be an animal, he thought. He'd been searching for what seemed like forever, but all he had to show for it were a gibbering chimp, and frightened wraith and a growing frustration. He wanted to blech fire, but his luminous form wouldn't let him.

Instead, he took the equivalent of a deep breath. Devin and his goons could be anywhere.

Phin-

He went in. Now all there was to do is wait for him, the girl, and Devin to come out. The smart girl who had sent him in started looking nervous. That was never a good sign.
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."

"Do you have a problem with archaeologists?"

"I'm a time traveler. I laugh at archaeologists."

"I've found you!" Billy cried.

"Billy! Thank heaven!" Bonnie reached out a hand.

No ring! It must be a trick!

Hey can someone bring me in?
Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole. -Dean, Supernatural

Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.
