"You just are," I say, setting a hand on the side of her face, "'Cause you'd go through that for me."

Jackie

I smile, "I'd go through what?"

Nic

I smile, "Letting me be gone long times if I had to. Most girls would jump at the chance to find someone else who could stick around all the time."

Jackie

I shake my head, "That's not me. Anyways, I'd be rewarding you for coming back."

Nic

I raise an eyebrow, smirking, "Rewarding me? Hm. That's some serious incentive there..."

Jackie

I nod, "Yes," I smile.

Nic

I kiss her quickly, the ice packs still on my face, "I'd come back even if you didn't reward me."

Jackie

I remove the ice packs and dab the wounds with a wet cloth, "I know. That's why I'm giving you a reward."

Nic

Slightly confused, I sigh and let her do as she must without arguing.

Jackie

I sigh and finish, "I wish I could do more to help."

Nic

I smile, "You've done enough. Thank you."

Jackie

I smile and nod slowly, bringing the stuff to the kitchen.

Nic

I sit back and sigh, texting my contact in the Main Court to switch my interviews.

Jackie

I take a deep breath and come back, yawning.

Nic

I slip my phone away and pat my lap for her, flashing a smile.
