I close my eyes and sigh as well.

Val

I hesitate before kissing him.

Ryder

I kiss her back, flashing a smile.

Val

I smile, feeling so comfortable around him as I wrap my arms around his neck.

Ryder

I wrap my arms around her and smile back, leaning upwards.

Val

He leans upwards, me on his lap now, and I keep my arms around him.

Ryder

I tighten my grip just as Sharp pulls me backwards and away from her.

Val

I swallow, thumping to the ground, and open my eyes.

Ryder

I throw my fist up and make contact with his jaw just as he pulls me in a headlock.

Val

I let them do boy stuff, shaking my head and giving up.

Ryder

"Get off of me," I mumble, throwing my legs upwards and slamming my feet into his face. He stumbles backwards and I jump up, coughing.

Val

I closeny eyes again and lie back.

Ryder

Shaking my head, I walk to Val and crouch at her side, "Let's go somewhere that someone one try to kill us, please."

Val

I nod and open my eyes, standing and leading him to his room.

Ryder

I follow her, rubbing my neck with one hand where he had choked me.
