In My poetry

*This poem is under my folder “My poetry”. Oh and I made the cover art! Enjoy!*

October’s days are full of gloom
His outlook is grim, much like a tomb
That’s what happens when your holiday is full of doom
But the horror is his home
With it, he feels less alone
December always shines
With her bells, she rings her Christmas chime
Never does she frown
She doesn’t ever feel down
Every year, she pushes her special day closer
October feels a little forgotten
He wants to say something rotten
They were just fine apart
But December just has to start
One day, he can’t take it
He goes up to her, ready to give her a good scare
Instead, she tells him that she cares!
December’s always liked his black locks
And his penchant for the morbid
It knocks off her socks!
She’s only ever wanted to get closer
She didn’t mean to push him away
October’s a little stunned, his anger beings to fray
December is kind of nice
He likes the color of her eyes
They’re cool and sharp, just like ice
He loves her so
And he lets her know
He’s forgiven her
She’s promised not to do it again
Years go by, they find that they’re very alike
Never do they want to leave each other’s side
Some time later, there’s a child they have
November is her name
And both their hearts are glad

I absolutely love how you've personified the months! I especially like how December accidentally hurts October when she's really only trying to get closer to him. And the ending is so cute! It's also perfect for this time of year, and I think I'll be thinking about October, November, and December a little differently from now on, lol!

I’m glad you enjoyed this! :>

That is a wonderful
Composition that you did
You are very smart
When it comes to writing
Also you were born to be a writer
That is the gift that our Father
Gave to us
Yes he is the one who
Created us in his image
Also you should be happy
Every day that you are alive
Also you should be thankful
For the things you have
You have a roof over you had
A bed to sleep on
Food to eat

The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma.
