Prophecies, Bloodshed, and Gays

Nahi shrugged. “I… I have dreams from my mother. That I’m a chosen one.” They took a step back. “Laugh if you want, I’ve heard it all before. Yes, I went to a therapist. No, I don’t have Schizophrenia.”

Shara shook her head. "What no...that's amazing. Wow. You're a chosen one. I'm honored." Shara bowed.

Nahi cleared their throat. “You actually… believe me?”

Shara frowned. "Why wouldn't I?"

“Because why would I be a chosen one? And besides, my mom is Justicia. No one believes she would pick a chosen one.”

"Well I believe you. Who your mother is hardly matters."

Nahi blinked. “You really, truly believe that?”

"Of course."

Nahi felt a little giddy at that. “Well, regardless. No matter what you believe being around me is going to get you in trouble.”

"I'll take the risk."

Nahi sighed. “Well, you can check your roommate over there. So… I guess you’ll find out.”

"We will. Want to check it together?"

Nahi shrugged. “Okay.”

Shara beamed. "Wonderful."

Nahi gestured for Shara to lead the way.
