Hey Alex, I'm back again for the next song!

I've got to say, I love that the moon imagery continues here! 'You've got the pull of a moon babe' however reminds me of a song from a show I LOVED as a kid, which is about werewolves, and I kept trying to sing your song to the tune of this

But I do love the idea of describing someone as having 'the pull of the moon' because, to me, it is an inherently supernatural feeling line, like something neither can control and something out of the ordinary for them to be unable to resist. It's a pull they can’t control, which changes them from the inside, is exactly how falling for someone feels!

I think my favourite line is:

You’re the mirror that I need
For my truth to be freed

It shows how, for Aide, falling for someone and seeing himself more clearly are the same.

I'm honestly so pulled into the story of Aiden and Felix, and I feel like this song feels much tighter in its imagery than the previous, and I can't really find anything to critique except I wish it were longer of course!

I think if I had to point one thing out:

And though I need to explore
But ever since in that bookstore
My breath has been hastening
You're my gay awakening

The stanza doesn't quite make grammatical sense, since “And though I need to explore” opens a subordinate clause. “Though” promises a contrast: though I need to explore, [something else is true] (for example). We're waiting for the main clause that completes it, such as “Though I need to explore, I’m staying here with you.” Does that make sense? Hopefully XD

Excited to review the next one :)

Thanks for the review, rev! This one is definitely my favorite of the bunch too, in all the imagery, how good it sounds and the significance. The best part was how much of a leaning it had on the music side for sure. The song you point is so addictive too, going to jam on it for a few days now! About the clause, you're right on point. I tried to write it in a better way but songs being forced so quick puts you in too many restrictions, apparently. At least in meaning though, it's complete- though I need to explore, at least you've made me realise my reality. Hope that clears up some meaning for you at least. Thanks again, you really make my day!

Regret has a flavor and it tastes like the espresso I consumed at 9pm.
