Hope is like that one star in the sky
Wishing for an outcome you best thought of
But it disappoints you how far that hope is, yet you hold onto it.
What's better is that you don't see the other stars around that one star.
When you were busy focusing on one star, there are plenty around that signifies other possible outcomes that happen for the best.
There is never one choices or thoughts.
There is more than one.

This is amazing I really feel connected to this poem. This is the best poem I have read in a long time. I’m always gonna remember this poem. I loved this so much and I love it so much I can’t even express it.
Thank you so much miss! I am honoured and I appreciate your honest review. It warmed my heart. I'm looking forward to reading your works if you published any! All the best!
Hello
Your poetry caught my attention through the emotions and imagery woven into each verse. I could envision your words being brought to life through a series of connected illustrations, with each scene flowing naturally into the next and reflecting the poem’s evolving mood.
As a professional commission-based artist, I create custom paid artwork that transforms written ideas into visual experiences. I would love to explore a concept where every 2–4 lines or verse inspires a new illustration, creating a continuous visual journey alongside your poetry.
If this idea interests you, I would be happy to discuss the possibilities and help you explore a concept that suits your vision and budget.

Hi Eve! I appreciate your review!
I'm happy to hear that my piece caught your attention and that you can envision my words to life or illustrations.

This poem is beautiful,
It perfectly captures the universal ache of pinning all your happiness on one specific dream, showing how easily that hyper-focus can lead to disappointment. However, the piece completely transforms in the second half, moving away from isolated longing to offer a message of profound reassurance and hope.
Your use of celestial imagery provides a brilliant perspective shift that serves as a gentle reminder to widen your gaze when things don't go as planned. it leaves the reader with a deeply insightful and uplifting takeaway. My favorite line is, There is more than one, its so powerful, it shows that even in the darkest of times, there are still many options.
Thank you, Emehendry!
I appreciate your review on my short piece. My use of celestial image was through the deepest thought I had while looking at the stars. Writing this poem made me think of how simple and guided we are as humans. Something simple as the stars in the skies made me went deeper and found the answer to my worries.
My thoughts in sharing this wishes to inspire others that while it seemed as though hope is nowhere near for your desire, there are better options out there you should focus on too. Who knows that they lead a better road than the one you initially focused on? Perhaps you'll gain more experience, moments, lessons or even unforgettable memories.
We should make use of our gifted lives and train our thoughts not to go much into the world of darkness.
you should review my poems
Yes, sure!
A brief piece on a rather tempting subject.
I particularly like the metaphor of the stars and how you use it to explore our tendency to become fixated on a particular outcome. Sometimes, in holding onto one possibility, we become blind to the many others that could be just as beautiful, if not better. It's a lovely reminder that hope shouldn't be restricted to a single outcome.
Even in my own piece about hope, I never quite approached it from this angle. I was more occupied with deconstructing the concept itself.
This is a fresh take, and I find it inspiring. Perhaps you could have explored the imagery a little further, but I genuinely appreciate this perspective on hope. It's one I haven't quite encountered before.
I'll upload my own piece in a few hours, perhaps you'd understand what I mean by an unseen perspective. I've had it for about ten months now.
Thank you, Alex, for your review!
Yes, it gave little imagery yet pondered on a different concept that even myself hadn't considered until I was deep in thoughts.
I'm looking forward in reading your piece once you upload it and I'm happy to hear your perspective! Maybe it will challenge or give me a new point of view which I may or may not have looked for until I do.
