Bulky body, beating wings,
you contrast with the delicate flowers you land on.
You take a drink, then buzz away.
You're always focused on your job, just like us.
Why are we scared of you if we're both workers?
It's a pleasure to watch you, little bee.

Hello, Eucalyptusjoos here to review!
I like how through concise, compact and simple language you have expressed a very deep poem with hidden meanings.
I especially love the contrasts to human blue-collar job and capitalism, if I'm reading this right.
I like how the first line makes it seem like the bee is some kind of oppressor, like the strong who diminishes and preys on the weak (delicate flowers).
"You take a drink, then buzz away." It feels like exploiting a resource for personal gain and just leaving it high and dry.
"You're always focused on your job, just like us." Kind of like separating your morality from your means of earning livelihood.
"Why are we scared of you if we're both workers?" This is kind of like the human worker talking to the bee worker, one expressing their understanding, mutual deprecation and resignation at their similar states. I do wish another line could've been added where the narrator and the bee are able to interact or at least express their mutual hatred of their situations.
"It's a pleasure to watch you, little bee." According to my interpretation (which is likely to be off the mark), I think it doesn't suit the tone of this poem very much. But if we ignore the undertones and just focus on the observational aspect of the poem, I think it goes well enough.
I do recommend tweaking the 5th line and adding another one to kind of clear up the exact meaning and tone you wished to convey, but other than that, pretty deep poem! <33
Thanks for your review and interpretation! I was trying to go for an observational tone lol
ahh okay for that its perfect
I like how short and sweet this is! Bees really aren’t our enemies, we are just both working together in this world.
Thank you for reading!
I review for cookies hahahaha
this is short but sweet (that's a pun. cuz like, bees make honey.... and honey is sweet.... oh never mind)
This line is very interesting to me. It shows the difference between the heavy awkward bee and the beautiful delicate flower. One thing I might add if it was me would be "you so contrast with the delicate flowers you land on"
artistic choice though!! Don't listen to me I'm just here!
hope this helps a bit ^^
Arigato!!
