In My Poetry

O, hear me out
‎
‎I’m worried sick—
‎not loudly,
‎but the kind that sits behind the eyes
‎and won’t leave.
‎
‎I’ve lived more in my head
‎than I’ve ever managed out here.
‎and now I’m stuck there—
‎long enough to be afraid of it.
‎afraid of how real it feels.
‎
‎is it just me,
‎or did I miss the moment
‎my mind stopped asking
‎and started deciding?
‎there’s a voice—
‎not loud,
‎not even cruel,
‎just certain.
‎
‎it builds worlds for me—
‎what could have been,
‎what might still be—
‎anything but now.
‎never now.
‎
‎it drags me backward,
‎lets me visit futures
‎I haven’t earned,
‎and calls it living.
‎in there,
‎I am everything.
‎out here—
‎I hesitate.
‎
‎I’ve suffered so much in my life…
‎most of it imagined,
‎but it still leaves a mark.
‎it feels like dreaming
‎with my eyes open—
‎time moving,
‎nothing touched.
‎so I tell myself:
‎
‎move.
‎feel something real.
‎see it.
‎break it.
‎want it.
‎make it happen.
‎
‎because this mind of mine—
‎it keeps me company,
‎but it would watch me disappear
‎if I let it.

Hi there! I'm reviewing using the YWS S'more Method today!

Am the one and only M🌕🌕N!!!! Here my review.yay~

Top Graham Cracker - What I Know
Ok i like this one yo. Firstly i think this poem is about the speaker is living there more life in imagination than reality and they feel its good and alsp thry treat imagination has companion and helps them to be free but also they want to step away sometimes. I like that contrast.

Slightly Burnt Marshmallow - Room for Improvements
I got no suggestions dude.

Chocolate Bar - Highlights of the Piece
Hmm i like the line here is

‎because this mind of mine—
‎it keeps me company,
‎but it would watch me disappear
‎if I let it.

I like the concept too.
Closing Graham Cracker - Closing Thoughts
