A Blue Jay takes flight in the great blue sky.
He flaps his wings, oh look how high!
With a crown of cobalt atop his head,
The day is rising up out of its bed.
Blue Jay flies across forests and hills,
He sees a fox carrying its kills.
Oh how I wish I could fly,
Out of my cruel mind.
I would fly somewhere far away.
Stop for no one, if I may.
I would fly as far as my wings could bear,
even though, you still care.
I see your face in my mind,
the expression of horror-vivid at night.
It haunts me as I fly away,
your little Blue Jay who couldn't stay.
Your Blue Jay who was too broken to sing
and desperate to be free.
So now I'm resting in a tree.
My mind is full of things: good things, bad things, sad things.
You'll see a glimpse of blue in the breeze,
Just know I'm watching over you, please?
Yes, I may be a bird with wings and a beak,
but I'm free.
Free of being grounded in one place,
Free of being stuck in this space.
Stuck breathing this stale air,
Not feeling the wind in my hair.
The wind is my spirit now,
It's taking me places, all around.
It lifted my wings up into the sky,
I might be broken, but look how high.
I am a Blue jay,
wild and free.
See how free I can be.

Top Graham Cracker - What I Know
Firstly. I felt like you like blue i think ah! Coz i read your scarlett poem thats why. Anyway. I really liked how you used the Blue Jay as a symbol of freedom and escape. At first, it feels like am reading about a bird enjoying its freedom, but slowly i discover the emotions and pain behind it. Its has good message.
Slightly Burnt Marshmallow - Room for Improvements
Hmmm ok for this i felt that some rhyming lines felt little forced so you could work on it. And the transition between the speaker's painful memories and the Blue Jay's freedom could be smoother. Its just my thoughts my friend.
Chocolate Bar - Highlights of the Piece
My favorite line is
Closing Graham Cracker - Closing Thoughts

Curiosity: First Thoughts
Heyyyy emeh!! ♡
I came here expecting a cute little bird poem and ended up with an existential crisiss... TwT
It was such a shockk to move from a happy little Blue Jay flying around through forests and hills to such a sad admission. The bird becomes a powerful symbol of freedom, suffering and what they wish they could leave behindd!.!?.
The Cat's Whiskers: What I Love
"I might be broken but look how high."
Hello? This line is so pretty!?
It's so powerful that despite them being broken, they can still flyy. I loved how throughout the poem they are looked over by the Blue Jay. The journey from wanting to fly awayy, to a new found feeling of freedomm....
The Claws: What To Improve On
There is a little bit of work that could have been done on the punctuation.,,... rhythm and some of the rhyming. I would have loved to see a bit more development with the mysterious face. Who are theyy? What happened? So many questionsss. but anywayyyy... OwO
After the Prowl: Final Thoughts
What I love most is that we aren't just given a bird flying away at the end, we get to hear their voice finally saying they're freee.
Maybe broken but they are STILL flyingg.
And that is the Blue Jay I will remember.

Hi, I'll be using the S'more Review method today.
Top cracker: This is a poem in which the narrator wishes to be as a blue jay and it seems this person may also have some mental or physical illness or disorders? Perhaps the person who still cares is their mother, or caretaker maybe a girl/boyfriend.
Chocolate bar: Again, I love how vividly you describe the emotions of the character and for this one I like the rhyme scheme.
Slightly burnt marshmallow: I honestly have no suggestions.
Bottom cracker: An emotionally vivid poem with a theme of wanting to fly away from your problems. ✓
You are so sweet, tysm!!! you should review my other poem, I am Winter
