*This fanfic is underneath my folder titled âCreepypasta stuffâ. Gacha Club character designs are under this forum:Â https://www.writerfeed.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=117842&start=30. The main character of this fanfic, Janice, is my OC and the fanchild of Laughing Jack (demonic clown) and Jeff the Killer (knife-wielding supernatural serial killer). Her parents are Creepypasta characters (Creepypasta is internet horror). You may google them if you like. Endora is also my OC. Enjoy!*
Thereâs no way sheâll be able to run away. Not when I can hear my Knife-Dad grazing hisâŠwell, his knifeâŠagainst my wall and a worn-out version of âPop goes the weaselâ playing, the anthem of my Clown-Dad.
âGo in my toy chest. They wonât see you there.â
Endora looks over at my pink toy chest, then back at me.
âWhat if I donât fit?â
âItâs big, just go in!â
I push her over to the chest to speed her up, then quickly close it before-
âWhoâs in there?â
I whip my head around to face my Knife-Dad. He doesnât really have pupils in his eyes, but I can tell that heâs glaring at me.
âWhat do you mean?â
âThe box, Janice. We can smell the human in there.â
I see that my Clown-Dad is already creeping behind the chest, his black claws inching to the lid where she hides.
âNow, JaniceâŠwhy on Earth did you bring a human here? Donât you understand that humans are always going to want something from you? Donât you understand that they deserve to die?â
Heâs smiling that smile when heâs holding in a whole tidal wave of anger, anger thatâs burning so hot that it simmers into sheer insanity and when heâs like that, heâs in the mood for killing. Not that both of my parents donât always want to kill, but when either of them have expressions like that, then they are feeling exceptionally murderous.
My Knife-Dad, on the other hand, is crouching in the corner of my room, his long, black hair flowing in choppy, disjointed waves around his pale, bruised face and bloody-carved grin like heâs Kuchisake Onna waiting to carve a smile on someoneâs face. Interesting little fact about my Knife-Dad is that his favorite urban legend growing up was the one about the slit-mouth woman and that heâs actually inspired by her. Itâs been one of his life long dreams to meet her, which is why heâs trying to find the time to take us to Japan, so that we can meet Kuchisake Onna and all of the other ghosts that reside there.
Yes, my parents are terrifying, yada yada yada, but they havenât opened the box yet. If Endora is lucky, sheâll get out of here alive. If not, then I guess Iâll just be alone. Maybe she stopped breathing already.
Thereâs no use hiding it.
âWell yes, there is a human in there, but she hasnât done anything! Sheâs fine! I just wanted to show her my house and my dolls! I wasnât even going to tell her about you guys!â I cry out.
I know that I sound like the human victims that beg us not to kill them and I donât like it.
I donât think my fathers like it either.
âThat doesnât matter, Janice. If sheâs in that box, then she already knows about us. Sheâll already know what we look like when your Dad opens it. Might as well just kill her now. Get it over with quick.â My Knife-Dad says, glancing at his bloodstained knife before looking back at me.
I grab my Clown-Dadâs claw before he can open it.
âBefore you open it, justâŠjust donât kill her. Please?â
âWhy? Why do you want to spare her life?â
âUhmâŠbecauseâŠbecause I want to know her more. Because I showed her my face and she wasnât scared. She just said I looked fine. She was a little annoying but not that bad. MaybeâŠmaybe we can be friends.â
I let go of my Clown-Dadâs claw. Heâs staring at me, not saying anything. I think I said enough. I hope it was enough.
âAnd if she turns out to hurt you?â
âThen Iâll deal with her myself. Not you guys.â
He stands up, walking away from the box.
âFine. Let her live, if you really think that she could be your friend. But if things go bad, then-â
âYeah yeah, I know!â
I look back at my parents before I go over to open the box. They both donât look exactly happy but they donât seem super upset either. And theyâre not going to kill her! Thatâs something, at least.
Now Iâve got to let her out.

Back again! I needed to find out what happened to Janice and Endora, so here I am
oKAY WOW you really just throw us in the deep end there. That's a terrifying image to think about.
This part is so anxiety-inducing! You should maybe linger a little longer on this moment, build up the tension before the dads come in. Poor Endora, that must be really scary. Or maybe not, I mean, last chapter she wasn't frightened of Janice at all, only dead flowers XD
This is a creepy image, but how can Janice tell he is glaring at her? Does his brow furrow or crease, for example? Describe how she knows this, it will make it stronger.
Aahh, poor Endora, I'm really scared for her fate right now. I wonder if we should have more from Clown-Dad here. I want to know exactly why he thinks this about humans, what has happened in the past, how he wants to protect his daughter, etc!
Phew, I am glad Janice stood up for Endora and didn't allow her to get killed.
I kinda think clown-dad might take a bit more convincing than that! I think Janice might need to convince him Endora is good, maybe tell him about the flowers, about how she's not scared - try to convince him not all humans are bad! That would make this line make more sense, give it a bit more punch!
<3 looking forward to the next part
Idk if you saw the note, but her parents are Laughing Jack and Jeff the Killer.
Thx for reading/advice!
Forgot to mention it last chapter but this was an excellent stopping point!

Oh myyyy ahhh just imagine poor Endora in the box, first hearing the knife against the wall and then the other creepypasta sidling up to the box youâre hiding in and they talk so disparagingly abt your humanness and your new friend just told you that they all kill humans⊠Poor girl must be so terrifiedâŠ
âMy Knife-Dad, on the other hand, is crouching in the corner of my room, his long, black hair flowing in choppy, disjointed waves around his pale, bruised face and bloody-carved grin like heâs Kuchisake Onna waiting to carve a smile on someoneâs face.â I like the descriptions here in separation. I think before âaround his pale [face]â it works really well and the adjectives you chose enhanced the sentence. But the sentence afterwards goes on for far too long and the other adjectives just overload it further. Why not say âaround his faceâ and then start a new sentence to put the state of face and his grin into better focus? đ
I think you meant âlittle factâ in the following sentence, right? [You know you can edit the stories you already out up, right?]
I also start to think that Endora just ended up so traumatized by this encounter that nothing else will ever faze her. Itâs her coping mechanism.
Another good stopping point here btw!
