It’s growing inside me
painful yet striving
gnawing at my heart
that’s beating wildly
pounding for help
it shall not be overthrown
But there it goes again
growing, gnawing
getting bigger
harder to bear
until my heart
can no longer fight
Then it spreads
throughout my body
heat buzzing
destroying everything in its path
my mind is next
though it fights
It’s a troublesome war
screaming for help
thinking of everything
that could change
but it’s still growing
gnawing at my brain
And now, it’s everywhere
the only thing left—
is anger

The title it strives to win just hits me right away. It makes me wanna know what wants to win? And how does it win?
Anyways I'm gonna talk about the poetry part now.
I wanna know what is it? But just from this stanza it makes me think it's something inside or an emotion. I'm looking at that last line in this stanza and I'm starting to thinks it's love isn't it?
This stanza helps me figure out what it is. But I still thinks it's the emotion of love. Love is 100% that way.
Anyways I'm done with this
XD
WAIT I GOT IT CORRECT?
