A little writing of how sometimes loneliness and sadness just gets the better of someone. Especially after losing a friend very dear to you.

A story where everybody dies.
Please critique this, as harshly as you wish. Most of the plot is completed and any plot holes that you may find aren’t necessarily plot holes, I was simply unable to find a good way to explain them. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them, and I’d be happy to answer. This writing may seem difficult to read, and it is meant to be that way, though I am trying to improve on readability.
Prepare to ruin your first impression with my awful prologue ^^

TW for abuse, violence, coercive control. In a world where an ancient Warriors Code governs those born with elemental abilities, two prophesied warriors — Keahi Koa, the last surviving dragonkin, and Anwar Junaid, a halfblood Shadow wielder — are supposed to save the continent of Embia from a war that's tearing it apart. But the most dangerous threat isn't the enemy king. It's the dead man living inside their minds.
